UK’s textile imports decline in February; clothing down 20.79% YoY

In February 2024, the UK’s clothing imports dropped to £1.017 billion, a 20.79% decrease year-on-year (YoY) but saw a slight increase from January 2024. Textile fabric and fiber imports also decreased compared to the previous year. The UK’s clothing exports fell slightly in 2024, while textile fabric and fiber exports showed mixed results.
