Knitting Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the knitting department, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Plan and coordinate knitting production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
- Ensure the proper setup and operation of knitting machines to achieve optimal efficiency and quality.
- Monitor production processes to identify and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain a safe working environment and uphold product standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as design, engineering, and quality assurance, to optimize production processes and product development.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in knitting operations.
Qualifications
BSc Textile Engineering, Manufacturing
Experience
Proven experience in knitting operations, with at least 4 years of managerial experience in a textile manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of knitting machinery, techniques, and processes.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
