Five workers, including a man and his son, died from burns.

Five out of the 12 workers, including a 12 years old boy, who had suffered burns in a steam boiler explosion in a textile mill located on Sargodha Road near motorway M-4 at Faisalabad on April 20, succumbed to their injuries on Tuesday night and Wednesday.

Those who died include 12-year-old Salman and his father Fayyaz, who were from Bahawalnagar, as well as Waseem (18) and Mustansar (24) from Arifwala, and Zunair (26) from Samundri. Seven other injured workers from the incident are still in serious condition at the burns unit of the Allied Hospital.
