Manager (Fabric Development - Denim)
Responsibilities
- Lead the denim fabric development team in creating cutting-edge denim fabrics that meet market demands and brand standards.
- Collaborate closely with design and production teams to understand denim fabric requirements and translate them into innovative fabric solutions.
- Oversee the entire denim fabric development process from concept to production, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
- Stay updated on denim industry trends, technologies, and sustainable practices to drive innovation in denim fabric development.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with denim fabric suppliers and mills to source materials and negotiate contracts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in denim fabric development or textile engineering, preferably within the denim industry.
- Strong knowledge of denim fabric properties, weaving techniques, dyeing processes, and finishing methods.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
